Company Profile

  • 23 May 2004 – Trade activities start with Arnica company – a shop for rent and sale of movies covering one of the Sofia districts. Arnica company has two employees including the owner, Mr Georgi Hristov.
  • 2005 – An office for accounting and legal services is founded in purpose to serve the needs of Arnica company. Later on the Accounting and Legal Office starts providing services to outside clients. In 2017 it has more than 70 clients outside the group.
  • August 2005 – Retail trade with sex items starts.
  • 2007 – Georgi Hristov establishes a Foundation with social useful activities and priorities in the field of popular sport, support and development of youth up to 28 years old and ecological projects.
  • 2008 – The Company begins import and wholesale of sex items for the territory of the whole country. In 2017 it has more than 2000 products and 30 000 clients in the whole country.
  • September 2009 – The Company starts and develops digital agency Onboxmedia. 2010 - We have retained the following trademarks: ARNICA, ONBOXMEDIA, X-FUN, RIGANO and GH-GROUP in logos and text.
  • February 2011 – Purchase of a plot of land close to the town of Sandanski with investement purposes, namely developing rural tourism in Arnautski Laki area.
  • December 2011- Start manufacture of boxes and accessories for chess and backgammon
  • February 2012 - starts and develops commerce with party items. In 2017 it has more than 5000 retail clients all over the country.
  • April 2012- purchase a agricultural land near the town of Veliko Tarnovo in order to develop farm activities September 2012 - starts production of wood products under the trademark "Oreshak" protected throughout the EU.
  • December 2012 - opening of a two-storey showroom near Business Park Sofia for presenting all products of the holding group.
  • May 2013 – opening a showroom in Oreshak for wood products
  • November 2013 – The company became an importer of cosmetics Joy Drops September 2014 - kept the brand Souvenirs from Oreshak and made investments in new production of wood products and household products
  • March 2015 - of a plot of land close to the town of Troyan for farm purposes
  • May 2015 - The company bought its own premises, which became the official showroom and warehouse of the company.
  • September 2015 - The production of traditional Bulgarian foods and beverages starts under the trademark „Hrana ot Balkana” /Food from the Balkan/.
  • November 2015 - The company extends the Oreshak Handmade’s product catalog to more than 1000 products. The retail clients of the brand are more then 20 000, more than 100 popular shops and bookstores are wholesalers and more than 50 people are engaged in manufacturing, sales, customer service and administrative service.
  • February 2016 – - opening of a new showroom for sex items November 2016 - opening of a new showroom for wood products in the center of the Sofia, capital of Bulgaria.
  • 2017 - In order to expand the company's activities and strengthen the position of the Oreshak Handmade brand, the company purchases a machine for laser cutting and engraving, adding it to the remaining production and technical equipment.

General Economic Information about Bulgaria

    The minimum wage in Bulgaria for 2017 is 420 Levs per month. From January 1, 2017 it increased to 460 Levs The average monthly salary for the first threequarters of 2017 is 1006 Levs. The highest wages in the field of information and creative products (2347 lev monthly on avarage). Pay below the average for the first threequarters of 2017 in the following sectors: Restaurants (611 lev monthly), Administration and Administrative Services (801 lev monthly), culture, sport and entertainment (877 lev monthly), Construction (742 Levs . monthly), Agriculture, forestry and Fisheries (770 lev monthly), etc.

    • According to preliminary data, Gross Domestic Product (GDP) output in the fourth quarter of 2016 amounted to BGN 25,800 million at current prices. Seasonally adjusted data showed growth of 3.4% of GDP in the fourth quarter of 2016 compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year and 0.9% on the third quarter of 2016.
    • In January 2017, the turnover in retail trade, calculated on a calendar-adjusted basis, increased by 4.0% compared to the same month of the previous year.
    • Foreign direct investment (reported according to the original direction of the investment), according to preliminary data, increased by EUR 54 million in January 2017 against a positive value of EUR 28.1 million in January 2016.
    • Direct investment abroad in January 2017 increased by EUR 2.4 million (compared with a growth of EUR 1.4 million in January 2016). 
    • In index competitiveness - Bulgaria ranks 50- th of 138 countries according to the World Economic Forum>
